Senior UI/UX Designer (WFH)

About the job: We are looking for a UI/UX designer with at least 2 years of professional industry experience. The ideal candidate must have worked with startups before, understand fast execution cycles, and have an extensive portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking, visual design ability, and user experience design. This role is suited for someone who can turn rough ideas into polished product experiences, work closely with frontend and backend teams, and design interfaces that are simple, modern, and easy for users to navigate. Key Responsibilities: 1. Design clean, intuitive, and modern user interfaces for the platform. 2. Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, dashboards, and high-fidelity designs. 3. Improve existing product screens based on user experience, hierarchy, clarity, and usability. 4. Work closely with the frontend team to ensure designs are implemented accurately. 5. Think independently and propose design improvements without needing excessive direction. 6. Maintain consistency across typography, spacing, layout, components, and visual language. 7. Understand user behaviour and design around real product needs, not just visual appearance. 8. Build and maintain scalable design systems, components, and reusable UI patterns. 9. Review implemented screens and provide feedback to ensure product quality. Strong visual design skills with attention to detail. - 6. Strong experience using Figma. - 7. Ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and polished high-fidelity designs. - 8. Ability to work independently and take ownership of design decisions. - 9. Ability to collaborate with developers and explain design reasoning clearly. - 10. Understanding of responsive design for web and mobile interfaces. - 11. Strong communication skills, a structured working style and proficiency in English language. - B. Good to have: - 1. Experience designing SaaS platforms, dashboards, learning platforms, AI products, or productivity tools. - 2. Experience working with early-stage products where requirements may evolve quickly. - 3. Experience creating design systems from scratch. - 4. Basic understanding of frontend development limitations and handoff best practices.
