Purpose of the Position
The Senior Talent Consultant at matteria leads executive searches end to end, partnering with leaders who are changing the world, wherever they happen to be building. This person brings both the technical execution of headhunting and a strategic, consultative lens, listening closely to translate a client's ambitions into winning candidate profiles, and becomes the client's senior point of contact, able to navigate complex conversations fluently in English.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Client Advisory

Lead executive discovery sessions to deeply understand organizational challenges and leadership needs.

Translate loosely defined client expectations into structured search strategies and compelling leadership profiles.

Serve as the senior strategic point of contact throughout every engagement.

Facilitate executive-level conversations and decision-making in English with confidence and independence.
Executive Search Leadership

Own the full executive search lifecycle, including intake meetings, role definition, compensation calibration, sourcing strategy, executive outreach, candidate assessment, client presentations, offer management, and successful placement.

Design tailored search strategies for leadership positions across multiple industries and geographies.

Conduct sophisticated market mapping and direct headhunting of passive executive talent.
Leadership Assessment & Consulting

Conduct structured executive interviews and leadership assessments.

Evaluate candidates based on competencies, leadership capabilities, cultural alignment, and mission fit.

Advise clients on market dynamics, candidate trade-offs, and hiring decisions with sound judgment and objectivity.
Candidate Experience

Deliver an exceptional candidate experience through transparent communication, timely feedback, and respectful engagement.

Lead executive negotiations and support successful onboarding and post-placement follow-up.
Market Intelligence & Operational Excellence

Produce executive search reports, market intelligence, compensation insights, and pipeline analytics.

Continuously leverage technology and AI tools to strengthen research, sourcing, documentation, and decision-making.

Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, methodology improvements, and mentoring of junior consultants when appropriate.
Requirements and competences to work with us
Education

Advanced studies or certifications (e.g., executive coaching, org psychology, OD, analytics) are welcome but optional if your experience speaks for itself.
