For a Scandinavian SAP consulting company, we are looking for a Senior Solution Architect / Pre-sales specialist to help build a new practice in the SAP–Microsoft overlap - the integration, data, and AI layer connecting the SAP estate to Microsoft Azure and Fabric, where the fastest-growing, least-contested enterprise spend now sits.
About the role: You own the architecture and the commercial shaping of SAP–Microsoft engagements: how value crosses the gap between SAP (the system of record) and Microsoft (the system of work and intelligence), and how that is packaged into offers clients buy. You translate a enterprise estate into a clear target architecture and a credible first steps. This is a blend of architecture and pre-sales: you design the solution, and you help win it. You’ll shape a new practice’s architecture and its commercial playbook at the same time - defining how the company enters and wins in the SAP-Microsoft overlap, with the Nordic SAP install base as your market and a nearshore engine behind delivery.

What you’ll do:
- Define reference and target architectures for SAP↔Azure integration, data, and AI - patterns reusable across the client base, not one-off designs.

- Lead the technical side of pre-sales: scoping, proofs of value, estimates, RFP/bid responses, and the “lighthouse” entry offer - the smallest, highest-value engagement that proves capability, sponsored by the business, not IT operations.

- Design the data route in - reaching value through SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric / OneLake rather than depending on the incumbent’s integration runtime.

- Architect the AI layer on the SAP estate: agents, RAG, MLOps, and domain-native AI, plus where Microsoft Copilot and SAP Joule fit - the fastest-growing lane, where incumbents are weakest.

- Make the build-vs-partner call on connectors and platform components, and own the trade-offs (Clean Core, portability, vendor lock-in).

- Work with delivery engineers to turn winning designs into reusable IP and productized offers - with clear scope and dates.

- Be a credible voice in front of client architects and sponsors: neutral, premium advisory on SAP–Microsoft decisions.

Requirements

- 7+ years in solution / integration / data architecture, with demonstrable project experience spanning both SAP and Microsoft Azure - designs that actually crossed the two platforms.

- Strong command of the SAP side: S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP data (BW, CDS views, SAP Datasphere, Business Data Cloud), and integration patterns.

- Strong command of the Microsoft side: Azure data services, Microsoft Fabric / OneLake, Databricks, and ideally the Power Platform / Copilot ecosystem.

- A track record in pre-sales or client-facing solution design: scoping, estimating, and winning work - not just delivering it.

- Fluent English; confident leading executive and architect-level conversations.

Nice to have
- Hands-on or design experience with Open Mirroring, SAP Business Data Cloud, or zero-copy / Delta Share between SAP and Fabric.

- Experience architecting AI agents, RAG, or domain-native AI on enterprise / SAP data.

- Familiarity with the EU regulatory frame (NIS2, DORA, CRA, AI Act) as it shapes architecture and procurement.

- A point of view on the SAP→Fabric connector landscape and partner ecosystems.

- A Nordic language or Polish alongside English.
