Senior Short-Term Rental Issue Manager

We are looking for a highly experienced Issue Manager to join our short-term rental property management team. This is not a general VA position. We need someone with at least 3 years’ experience in the short-term rental industry, with strong experience managing guest, maintenance and property issues from start to finish. Experience working with properties or clients in the UK or Ireland would be a major advantage. Your Responsibilities You will take full ownership of property issues from the moment they are reported until they are completely resolved. This includes: • Troubleshooting guest and property issues • Diagnosing maintenance problems remotely • Managing heating and hot water issues • Handling plumbing, electrical, appliance and WiFi problems • Coordinating cleaners, maintenance teams and tradespeople • Arranging emergency call-outs when necessary • Keeping guests updated throughout • Following up until repairs are completed • Recording and managing issues through Guesty • Escalating serious issues when required What We’re Looking For You must have: • Minimum 3 years’ short-term rental experience • Strong issue management and problem-solving experience • Good knowledge of general property maintenance and DIY • Experience troubleshooting property problems remotely • Experience managing contractors and tradespeople • Excellent written and spoken English • Ability to remain calm under pressure • Strong organisation and follow-up skills • Ability to work independently and take ownership Guesty experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of UK and Irish properties, including boilers, oil heating, immersion heaters, thermostats, fuse boards and common household appliances, would be a significant advantage.
