Senior Product Designer (Visual Storytelling & Motion)
Role Overview
At Pulse iD, we're building the AI-powered growth and engagement infrastructure for banks, fintechs, payment providers, telcos and ecommerce merchants and brands across APAC, the Middle East and Europe. Pulse reads every customer signal โ from transaction data to digital engagement โ and activates the right reward, offer or action in the moment.
We're hiring a dedicated in-house Senior Product Designer โ someone who thinks in systems, ships polished UI, and can translate complex product capabilities into compelling visual stories. Your foundation is deep UI/UX and enterprise product thinking; motion, social and brand work all flow from that understanding. Youโll be embedded across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales โ the single design partner who helps the business win in the market. Youโll lean heavily on AI tools to operate at the scale of a much larger design function.
Location & Work Style
- Fully remote, based anywhere in APAC or the GCC (we'll consider candidates in time zones from GMT+3 to GMT+10).
Key Responsibilities
Product (UI/UX)
- Own end-to-end UI/UX for the Pulse iD platform: discovery, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, handoff.
- Build and maintain our Figma design system, components and tokens so design and engineering can ship faster.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on dashboards, configuration tools, merchant- and partner-facing portals, consumer-facing experiences embedded in bank, fintech and telco apps, and our new retail media surfaces.
- Use AI tools (ie: Claude Design) to spin up rapid prototypes before finalising in Figma.
Visual Storytelling & Product Communication
- Design Translate product narratives into compelling visual stories for LinkedIn, social and web โ rooted in product understanding, not social trends.
- Produce short, animated videos (15โ60s) that explain products, demonstrate features, support launches and drive social storytelling โ motion as a tool for product communication.
- Produce marketing collaterals: one-pagers, case studies, whitepapers, sales pitch decks, website pages.
Requirements
Experience
- 8+ years as a product designer, ideally with agency or B2B SaaS experience, and a portfolio that leads with strong UI/UX โ with supporting evidence of visual storytelling, decks and motion.
- Experience in a product-led tech start-up or SaaS environment; regulated industry (fintech, banking, telco) experience is a strong plus.
- Track record of being the sole designer in a small team โ comfortable owning everything from strategy to pixel-pushing without an art director above you.
- Demonstrable experience designing for enterprise audiences: dashboards, complex data, multi-stakeholder products.
Craft
- Expert in Figma (advanced components, variants, auto-layout, design tokens, prototyping, Dev Mode) โ you can build and run a real design system.
- Confident in motion design โ you can take a concept from storyboard to delivered animation without external help for short-form videos.
- Strong typographic, layout and visual systems sensibility โ your decks and one-pagers look like they belong to a serious B2B brand.
- Clear written and verbal communication in English; able to present and defend design decisions to senior stakeholders.
AI-first ways of working
- You actively use AI to be 2โ3x faster. You're fluent in tools like Claude, AI tools for prompt-to-UI and image generation, videos
- Curious and self-directed about new tools โ you're willing to test, adopt and discard tooling as the landscape evolves.
Working style
- Highly organised and self-managing; comfortable juggling product roadmap work and last-minute sales / marketing requests.
- Pragmatic and outcome-oriented โ you ship, iterate and prioritise ruthlessly.
- Collaborative and low-ego; happy to take feedback from Product, Sales, Marketing and the CEO, and synthesise it into great work.
