About the job: Key responsibilities: 1. Setting the technical direction for payment systems architecture, including the ledger, settlement, and reconciliation pipelines 2. Defining provider-abstraction layers so Razorpay, KYC vendors, and AML tools can be swapped safely 3. Guiding decisions on PostgreSQL isolation levels, event sourcing, and caching strategy 4. Reviewing critical payment code and mentoring the team on financial systems thinking, double-entry accounting and idempotent transaction design 5. Owning delivery timelines for ledger v1, settlement automation, and vendor integrations 6. Experience leading/mentoring engineers and making independent architectural decisions; regulated fintech, fraud detection, Go, event sourcing, or observability experience is a plus.
