Senior Manager / Development Accounting Lead

Position Summary
The Senior Manager will oversee the day-to-day management of development accounting activities and coordinate all financial reporting and compliance requirements associated with affordable housing development projects.

Primary Responsibilities

- Manage engagement workflow and project timelines.

- Coordinate development accounting activities from pre-development through project completion.

- Review project budgets, development cost schedules, and sources and uses statements.

- Assist in financial modeling and transaction analysis.

- Coordinate investor reporting and lender reporting requirements.

- Monitor project expenditures and financing compliance requirements.

- Review supporting documentation for cost certification and tax credit calculations.

- Supervise accounting staff assigned to the engagement.

- Participate in project status meetings and provide management updates.

Qualifications
· CPA preferred.

- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience.

- Experience with affordable housing, real estate development, or public housing accounting.

- Strong project management and analytical skills.
