About Us:
At Pixlr Group, we build AI-powered content creation platforms that help individuals and businesses produce high-quality visuals with ease. Our suite of tools, including PIXLR, Designs.ai, and Vectr, enables users of all skill levels to design, edit, and collaborate efficiently.

The Job:

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable software components using TypeScript, ReactJS, and NodeJS.

- Build and optimise frontend interfaces for high-performance, buttery-smooth user experiences.

- Architect backend systems that meet modern standards for scalability, reliability, and security.

- Integrate AI-powered features into production environments with a focus on performance and usability.

- Collaborate with design and product teams to translate user needs into clear technical deliverables.

- Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.

- Support business and operations teams by diagnosing and resolving technical issues effectively.

Requirements

The Person:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex technical challenges.

- 5+ years of software industry experience.

- 4+ years of solid hands-on experience with TypeScript and ReactJS or NodeJS in production environments.

- Depth in either one of the following focus areas:

- Backend: Advanced understanding of database design, CAP Theorem, and distributed systems.
OR

- Frontend: Demonstrated excellence in building refined, user-focused interfaces with performance and usability in mind.

- Solid grasp of product development lifecycles, design thinking, and agile methodologies.

- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Nice to Have:

- Hands-on experience with AWS, AWS Lambda, and the Serverless Framework.

- Familiarity with high-performance frontend technologies such as WebGL, WebAssembly, and Canvas API.

- Exposure to Large Language Models (LLMs) or Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
