Senior Enterprise SaaS Product Strategist
We are looking for a Senior Enterprise SaaS Product Strategist to own and drive the strategic direction of EISβs SaaS offerings. This is a senior product leadership role focused on how EIS packages, prices, positions, and continuously improves its SaaS platform β ensuring we win in the market, serve our customers well, and operate with excellence. You will work at the intersection of product strategy, market intelligence, and cross-functional execution, partnering closely with product management domain leaders, engineering, sales, and marketing to shape EISβs competitive SaaS position and roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
SaaS Pricing and Packaging
- Own pricing and packaging for all SaaS offerings β defining the services included, optional services, and the attributes of those services (what EIS provides, at what levels of performance and service).
- Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) for SaaS services β covering performance levels, operational capabilities, and service levels that set clear expectations for customers and internal teams.
- Identify and scope optional service tiers and the distinctions between standard and premium SaaS capabilities.
SaaS Strategy and Service Design
-
Define how EIS wins in the market: identify and articulate target segments, the reasons we win in each, and the key capabilities and attributes that differentiate our SaaS offering.
- Lead SaaS service design β shaping the end-to-end picture of what EIS delivers as a SaaS provider and how those services are experienced by customers.
- Apply deep knowledge of IT and SaaS operations, including the practices and capabilities required to deliver 24/7 services and a clear understanding of what βgoodβ looks like in the market.
SaaS Roadmap and Requirements
- Own the SaaS roadmap β defining and prioritizing the capabilities and services required to plan, deploy, operate, and support EISβs SaaS offerings.
- Define and prioritize investment in new technology and processes required to provide services not currently offered, or not currently delivered as efficiently or effectively as the market demands.
- Articulate business cases for SaaS investments, clearly connecting capability gaps to market opportunity and customer impact.
Core EIS Roadmap Coordination
- Act as a peer to product management domain leaders β coordinating roadmaps and prioritizing cross-domain work required to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and total cost of ownership (TCO) of our SaaS offering.
- Recommend enhancements to core EIS products and the platform to improve TCO for the SaaS offering.
- Work effectively across the varied stakeholders in EIS via influence and collaboration, building alignment without direct authority.
Market and Customer Research
- Lead an outbound market and customer research focus to continuously inform SaaS strategy and roadmap β drawing on competitive landscape analysis and direct insight into customer wants and needs.
- Use market intelligence to improve the offering, sharpen positioning, and strengthen EISβs ability to win new deals.
Positioning, Messaging, and Market Engagement
- Craft the core SaaS positioning framework to support marketing and sales in the development of collateral and programs.
- Deliver prospect- and customer-facing presentations on EIS SaaS, supporting the field as appropriate β consistent with the approach of other senior product leaders at EIS.
- Partner with marketing and sales enablement to ensure positioning, messaging, and value propositions are sharp, differentiated, and market-tested.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Significant experience in a senior product strategy, product management, or product marketing role for a B2B SaaS platform or technology company.
- Demonstrated ability to define and own SaaS pricing, packaging, and service design β including NFRs and service level definitions.
