About the Role
We are hiring for one of our premium financial group clients, who is seeking a highly analytical, curious, and driven Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Strategy & Impact) to join our team. This critical role will directly contribute to revenue growth, cost containment, and the optimization of the organizations performance. The analyst will work at the intersection of data analytics, strategy execution, and business impact, providing key insights and supporting data-driven decisions for the leadership team. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring that the organization maximizes the return on investment from its data assets and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting: Lead the development and management of executive dashboards, extracting data from the Enterprise Data Warehouse and other sources to provide impactful insights. Deliver descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to support decision-makers across the Group.
Strategic Initiative Tracking: Monitor progress on key strategic initiatives and provide data-driven analyses that support the achievement of organizational goals. Help align analytics initiatives with the Groups revenue improvement and cost-reduction objectives.
Project Execution & Support: Collaborate with the Project Management Office to support the execution of strategic projects. Assist with business case analyses and the benefit realization of initiatives focused on revenue growth and operational efficiency.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Optimization: Enhance the use of CRM tools to improve customer engagement and operational effectiveness across the Groups business units.
Report Automation & Process Optimization: Work closely with stakeholders to automate reporting processes and streamline workflows for critical business functions. Contribute to workflow automation, particularly in operations and reporting, by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a key link between Business Subject Matter Experts and the data team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
Strategic Planning & Execution: Assist in the formulation and execution of organizational strategies, helping to ensure data is leveraged for maximum business impact.
Efficiency Improvements: Lead initiatives to enhance business efficiency, including process automation and the streamlining of reports. Support cost-benefit optimization efforts by identifying areas of improvement across operational functions.
Business Continuity Planning: Contribute to Business Continuity Planning by providing data-driven risk assessments and ensuring organizational resilience in the face of potential disruptions.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, with a proven track record of using data to drive business impact.
Strong background in Mathematics, Finance, or Economics; knowledge of statistical and financial analysis techniques.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Java, C++/C#, and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for Excel is highly desirable.
