Senior Backend Engineer – .NET / AI

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and help build and scale a video commerce platform. You will work primarily on our backend infrastructure, APIs, integrations, and data architecture while helping our team take advantage of the latest AI-assisted development technologies and workflows. What You'll Work On Develop and maintain backend services and APIs ---------- / C# Support and scale a high-volume video commerce application Build and maintain integrations with eCommerce & marketing platforms Work with AWS infrastructure and a PostgreSQL database Improve application performance, reliability, security, and scalability Use modern AI development tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar tools to improve development velocity and code quality Collaborate closely with our existing engineering team on architecture and product development What We're Looking For Strong professional experience ---------- / C# backend development Senior-level experience designing and maintaining production applications and APIs Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL / relational databases Experience working with AWS Comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, authentication, and third-party integrations Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and performance Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding and development tools Comfortable working in a fast-moving product environment and taking ownership of projects Nice to Have Experience working with commerce infrastructure or integrations is a strong plus, particularly: Shopify Magento / Adobe Commerce Salesforce Commerce Cloud BigCommerce Klaviyo Other eCommerce, CRM, payment, or marketing platforms Experience with video infrastructure, streaming, high-volume applications, or SaaS platforms is also a plus. About the Role This is a hands-on senior engineering position. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, can work independently, and wants to be part of a team building the next generation of AI-powered video commerce technology.
