The Senior Analyst Materials / Planning is responsible for managing inventories for Third Party Operations purchased finished goods in warehouses throughout North America.
This position reports to the Manager of Finished Goods Planning, North America and is part of the Third Party Operations, Norther America group and will be fully remote to cover North America.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage supply of finished goods items at North American warehouses and meet inventory targets & continuously review stocking policies to optimize inventory levels and minimize scrapping cost.
- Work with the commercial team to have marketing intelligence used for planning excellence.
- Maintain Planning parameters such as lead time, re-order point, Safety stock etc, and own KPI reports and take pro-active actions to identify opportunities.
- Understand company strategy and work in accordance with the strategy.
- Lead continuous improvement activities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree; Supply chain concentration of study is a plus.
- At least 5+ years of SCM or relevant experience.
- Knowledge of MRP / MPS systems. Ability to use Oracle or similar ERP is a plus.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, specifically navigating sharepoint files, leading meetings using Microsoft Teams, and advanced Excel skills such as Pivot Tables and XLookup)
- Power BI report-generating skills in addition to Oracle Cloud / Redwood usage and navigation skills.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Continuous Improvement Lean tools.
- Work experience in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Leading SCM related projects.
