A well-established MarTech consultancy serving regulated industries โ including banking, healthcare, insurance, and retail โ is looking for a Senior Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer to join their growing engineering team. You'll design, build, and support enterprise-grade AEM applications, working closely with cross-functional teams across the full software development lifecycle.
This is a fully remote opportunity available as a W2 (up to $70/hr ) or C2C (up to $65/hr ) engagement. H1B transfers are supported.
What You'll Do

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM Sites and Assets).

Build scalable, reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, and services.

Develop custom Sling Models, OSGi services, and HTL (Sightly) components.

Configure and maintain AEM Assets, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.

Integrate AEM with enterprise systems and third-party platforms via REST APIs and web services.

Collaborate with UX, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Participate in code reviews, production support, performance optimization, and technical mentoring.

Ensure adherence to development best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.
What We're Looking For
Required
-
10+ years of overall software development experience.
-
7+ years of hands-on AEM development experience.

Strong expertise with AEM 6.x and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) .

Proficiency in Java, J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, HTL (Sightly), Servlets , and REST APIs.

Experience building reusable AEM components, templates, workflows, Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, and AEM Assets.

Hands-on experience integrating AEM with enterprise systems using REST APIs and web services.

Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and responsive UI development.

Experience with CI/CD tooling: Maven, Git, Jenkins , or similar DevOps tools.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Experience working in a marketing services or agency environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in client-facing settings.

Current legal right to work in the US (employer sponsorship not available for this role beyond H1B transfer).
Nice to Have
-
Adobe Certified Expert โ AEM certification.

Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services domain.

Familiarity with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics , or Adobe Experience Platform .

Experience with AWS or cloud-native deployment practices.

Track record of leading technical discussions, code reviews, and mentoring development teams.
Compensation & Benefits
