SAP Production Planning Consultant
- Drives business value of own (sub-) process depending on overall process strategy
- Communicates and implements continuously the (sub-) process production (fine) planning (Plan to Produce) on global level
- Take care of all Plan to Produce deployment tasks in rollout project, incl. implementation of PP/DS
- Aligns and adapts the (sub-) process changes including requirements from users, norms, standards and other processes
- Support definition of the roadmap to roll-out and increase the maturity level of the (sub-) process Plan to Produce
- Secure a sustainable implementation and compliance of the process standards
- Drive digitalization and automation in planning related processes, incl. implementation of standardized Industry 4.0 solution sets
- Monitor relevant key performance indicators, initiate and manage implementation and transformation programs to build or improve processes/capabilities
- Train and coach user departments on how to apply standard processes
- Intensive communication, collaboration and change management in an international environment
- Bachelors in Information Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- English B2/C1 proficiency (fluent)
- 3+ years of experience with SAP S/4 HANA especially in SAP Production Planning implementation or transformation.
- Several years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly within the Production Planning (PP) and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS) modules.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing processes, gained through academic studies and professional experience.
- Several years of experience in consulting or industry environments, preferably within the Consumer Goods or Retail sectors.
- Extensive experience with planning processes acquired through project delivery and/or operational environments.
- Strategic mindset with a strong focus on driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Passion for digital transformation and a shared vision of a flexible, efficient, and AI-enabled future supply chain.
- Ability and willingness to work in an international environment and travel regularly as required.
- Demonstrated initiative, persuasiveness, assertiveness, and enthusiasm in achieving business objectives.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in complex environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional and multicultural teams.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a strong willingness to learn, adapt, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
