SAP PP / SD Consultant with ARM experience

This is a remote position.
For a short part time project we are looking for an experienced SAP PP Consultant with good knowledge of SAP SD and experience with returns / complaint handling / ARM -related processes, to support a client project design phase. You will be focused on estimating, designing and specifying an automation for production order creation in a complaint / returns flow. This is a strongly functional and analytical role. We are looking for someone who can work directly with the client, understand the end-to-end process, assess possible solution options, support estimation, and prepare a solid functional specification for ABAP developers.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze the business process across SAP PP / SAP SD in the context of automating production order creation.

- Participate in client discussions and workshops.

- Design a solution for a scenario where a production order is automatically created based on a complaint / sales / returns process.

- Assess impact on related areas, especially:
- Make-to-Order / customer stock,

- production order type,

- settlement / costing / possible impact on CO-PA,

- master data requirements,

- process trigger point, quantity changes, cancellations, reprocessing, authorizations.

- Support SAP PP customizing and cooperate with consultants from related modules.

- Prepare a clear functional specification for the ABAP team.

- Support solution estimation and recommend the best functional approach.

Requirements

- Very good knowledge of SAP PP.

- Good knowledge of SAP SD.

- Experience in projects integrating PP and SD.

- Experience with SAP Advanced Returns Management (ARM) or broader returns / complaint management processes.

- Experience in SAP S/4HANA.

- Experience working as a functional consultant / analyst / solution designer.

- Experience analyzing end-to-end SAP processes across more than one module.

- Ability to prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP developers.

- Hands-on experience with customizing and impact assessment.

- Ability to work independently with the client and drive analysis discussions.

- practical understanding of SAP SD / returns flow,

- solid consulting and analytical experience,

- ability to translate business requirements into a workable design and functional specification for development.
