Salesforce Business Analyst (Public Trust)
Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award.
The Work: ICF seeks an experienced Business Analyst to supporta Salesforce Center of Excellence programfor one of our government clients. The Business Analyst will work closely with federal stakeholders, product owners, technical teams, and program leadership to analyze business needs, document requirements, support solution design, and help ensure successful delivery ofSalesforcecapabilities. The role requires strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills in a federal Agile delivery environment.
Job Location: Remote work is authorized. Must support US Eastern time zone working hours .

What You Will Do:

Engage with federal stakeholders to understand current business processes,identifypain points, and gather functional and non-functional requirements.

Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, process flows, and system requirements to support development and delivery activities.

Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, developers, testers, and other team members to prioritize and refine the product backlog.

Facilitaterequirementsdiscussions, working sessions, stakeholder interviews, and backlog refinement activities.

Create andmaintaincomprehensive documentation, including business process documentation, requirements specifications, user stories, workflow diagrams, meeting notes, user guides, and program deliverables.

Support testing activities by helping define test scenarios,validaterequirements, review defects, and ensure delivered functionality aligns with stakeholder expectations.

Assistin preparing and delivering user training, job aids, andadoptionmaterials to support effective use of project tools and processes.

Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to ensure shared understanding of priorities, requirements, risks, and dependencies.

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Support governance, reporting, quality reviews, and lifecycle checkpoints by ensuring required documentation and deliverables areaccurate, complete, and aligned with client standards.

Contribute tocontinuous process improvement byidentifyingopportunities to streamline workflows, improve documentation, and enhance stakeholder engagement.
What You Will BringWithYou:

3+ years of work experience in Information Technology, including at least one Salesforce project.

3+ years of experience and provenproficiencywith Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.

1+ years of experience delivering user training or creating technical documentation.

Candidate must have a Public Trust or an Active Secret clearance

U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements

Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.
