The Sales Manager will join our high-performance Global Sales and Marketing team, renowned for its excellence and success. The manager will be tasked with spearheading the sales strategies and activities for ILSC, Greystone and ELS in Chile, Argentina or Uruguay. The sales role entails orchestrating comprehensive plans to drive enrollment into our language and higher education programs. We are seeking an adept communicator with a proven track record in collaborating with agencies, schools, and universities to foster student enrollment to ILSC, ELS, Greystone College and Greystone Institute. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of charisma, ethical conduct, and a results-driven mindset, while harboring a passion for international education. The manager will be a personable and persuasive communicator, results-oriented, highly ethical, a great team player, who is seeking an opportunity to grow with a world-leading global organization in international education.
This full-time sales role offers a competitive salary package, covering 37.5 hours of work per week. However, there may be occasions when the manager will need to work additional hours per week to fulfill project deadlines and tasks, including exhibiting at fairs and/or while travelling within the region on behalf of the company. As a remote sales position, candidates should be located in Santiago, Chile or Buenos Aires, Argentina, though Chile is preferred.
Job Duties:
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Director and sales team members to ensure the attainment of enrollment targets. This objective will be realized through increasing sales from our current agent partners and onboarding new agents with significant growth potential.
- Support the Regional Sales Director in crafting sales projections and budgets, aiding in strategic planning for sales initiatives and resource allocation.
Drive the promotion of all ILSC Education Group brands through a multifaceted approach:
- Presentation skills: Utilize effective presentation techniques to showcase the value propositions of ILSC Education Group to potential partners and clients.
- Agent workshops and fairs: Participate in workshops and fairs to engage with students to increase sales.
- Pricing strategies: Develop and implement competitive pricing strategies that resonate with the target market, ensuring optimal balance between affordability and profitability.
- Training of agents: Provide comprehensive training programs for agents to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively promote and sell all ILSC Education Group programs, thereby maximizing enrollment opportunities.
- Produce group quotes.
- Actively listen to our clients’ needs and share it with the management in a timely manner.
- Recruit new agents and strengthen relationships with existing agents.
- Report on agents’ performance as well as market conditions that impact enrollment numbers.
- Participate in the development of new promotional materials in Spanish for LATAM markets.
- Respond to general agent inquiries within one business day.
- Travel to attend agent fairs and workshops.
- Regularly liaise with agents to obtain student arrival information and payments, and to gather reasons for student cancellations.
- Other duties and projects as per the direction of the Regional Sales Director.
Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Attributes:
- While not mandatory, candidates with an educational background in sales, marketing, business, communications, or related fields are preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the international education industry.
- Willingness and ability to travel.
- Keen understanding of the higher educational systems in the US, Canada, Ireland and Australia.
