Sales Account Manager – Flow Cytometry

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager for Sony Biotechnology with strong expertise in Flow Cytometry to manage and further develop the France, Belgium, and Luxembourg markets.

This is a unique opportunity to join a market-leading innovator in flow cytometry and cell sorting, driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies within leading research institutes, pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology organisations, and clinical laboratories.

In this highly visible commercial role, you will take ownership of a strategically important territory, developing new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships. You will be responsible for selling Sony 's portfolio of flow cytometry instruments and related solutions , managing complex sales cycles and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Reporting directly to the European Head of Sales , you will play a key role in accelerating Sony Biotechnology's market presence across the region.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in flow cytometry and cell sorting , a strong network within the flow cytometry community, and demonstrated success in capital equipment sales , combined with a resilient, hunter‑oriented mindset.

This is aremote position, based in Belgium, with regular travelacross the territory.

You will:

- Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory, achieve forecasted sales goals while preserving acceptable gross profit levels

- Plan and execute sales, funnel-building activities that ensure sales satisfaction and growth of the Sony Biotechnology portfolio

- Provide forecasts, reports, marketing intelligence and information to the business

- Develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and maintain sales activities in Salesforce (CRM)

- Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales and integrate personal sales efforts with other organised marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions, and telemarketing

- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information

You will bring:

- Proven track record of success in life sciences commercial sales , preferably within flow cytometry, cell analysis, cell sorting, or related technologies .

- Strong experience selling capital equipment and managing complex, consultative sales processes.

- Deep technical knowledge of flow cytometry , with the ability to engage confidently with researchers and laboratory decision-makers.

- Established network within the flow cytometry and life sciences research community.

- Demonstrated ability to generate new business and consistently exceed sales targets.

- Fluent English and French , both written and spoken.

- Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.
