Position: Russian Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert (San Francisco Bay Area)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Russian, ensuring clarity and adherence to guidelines.

- Produce high-quality written outputs in Russian and English, capturing nuances and dialectal variations.

- Establish evaluation standards and develop rubrics for Russian and English audio contexts.

- Conduct model testing, evaluate outputs, and provide feedback to improve performance in Russian tasks.

- Support QA cycles to ensure consistency and reliability in datasets and benchmarks.

- Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and enhance task design.

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Native or near-native fluency in Russian and professional fluency in English.

- Familiarity with spoken Russian, regional vocabulary, and dialects.

- Ability to transcribe and analyze Russian audio content.

- Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.

- Available to commit 10–20 hours per week .

Preferred

- College students or recent graduates.

- Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, translation/localization, or technical disciplines.

- Experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in Russian.

- Familiarity with regional variations of Russian and digital language usage.

- Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
