This position is 7 on/7 off with a 100% focused neuro case mix. In Tampa, we serve a growing health care system that is a stroke center of excellence and collaborate with our other RAF divisions around the state to offer candidates an optimal study mix. We perform a full breadth of neuroradiology examinations, including in the domains of trauma, stroke (including CT perfusion with RAPID software), oncology, dementia, movement disorders, and functional MRI. We are affiliated with the University of South Florida. We have eight residents per year and one neuroradiology fellow. Our ideal candidate has an interest in teaching neuroradiology, particularly to the fellow. This position offers the opportunity for faculty appointment. Dedicated didactic lectures are not required but are welcome. We have a team-based style of practice, and our next neuroradiologist will be able to collaborate with an experienced team of subspecialists. We offer an internal moonlighting program with unmatched flexibility, allowing radiologists to moonlight from home as much or as little as they prefer, without having to commit to extra shifts. LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW RAF is the largest radiology practice in Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the Keys. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.
