QA Manual Fresher
This is a remote position.
Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer (Fresher) who is eager to start a
career in software testing. You will work on manual testing of web and mobile applications and gradually gain
exposure to automation tools and practices . This role offers the opportunity to learn from experienced QA
engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in manual testing of web, mobile, and API applications.
- Write and maintain test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
- Participate in functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Work with developers and product managers to understand features and requirements.
- Log and track bugs using tools like JIRA.
- Join Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
- Learn the basics of test automation and contribute where possible.
- Support stable and reliable product releases.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or final-year student).
- Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Basic knowledge of test case design techniques.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TestLink, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
