QA Intern

About the Role We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our team. As a QA Intern, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in software testing, quality assurance processes, and Agile development practices. Responsibilities - Understand business requirements and application workflows. - Create and execute test cases based on functional requirements. - Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications. - Identify, document, and track software defects. - Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing. - Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues. - Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Assist in preparing test reports and test documentation. Required Skills - Basic understanding of Software Testing and QA concepts. - Knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes. - Familiarity with manual testing techniques. - Understanding of bug tracking and defect lifecycle. - Good analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong attention to detail. - Good verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Skills - Only from Tier 1 or IIT/ NIT Institution - Basic knowledge of SQL and database concepts. - Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman. - Understanding of web technologies and browser testing. - Exposure to automation testing tools is an added advantage.
