Seeking Experienced QA Automation Tester for Exciting Projects Remote in Mexico

We are looking for a QA Automation Tester with strong automation testing experience and Guidewire certification to join a long-term project within the insurance industry.
Technical Skills Required:

- Mandatory Guidewire Certification (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).

- 3–5 years of experience in QA Automation.

- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.

- Proficiency in Java, Python, or other scripting languages used for test automation.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured.

- Strong understanding of Jira and Confluence.

- Experience performing database testing.

- Solid understanding of insurance industry processes and Guidewire architecture.

- Advanced English proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for Guidewire applications.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage across Guidewire modules, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.

- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using defect management tools.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

- Generate test reports, quality metrics, and status updates for stakeholders.

- Conduct database testing using MySQL and SQL Developer.

- Validate REST and SOAP APIs.

- Support QA best practices and mentor junior team members when needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher

- Fluent in English (Advanced) B2 - C2

- Excellent communication, teamwork, commitment, and a proactive attitude

Location & Schedule:

- Remote work from Mexic0

- Work hours Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00

- Advanced English skills are mandatory, and only residents of Mexico
