QA ANALYST

This is a remote position.
The QA Analyst will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Business Analysts to test software applications, identify defects, and help ensure high-quality product releases. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build a career in software quality assurance and testing.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and API applications.

- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.

- Review business requirements and user stories to understand testing needs.

- Assist in developing test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.

- Perform functional, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support.

- Validate bug fixes and verify application functionality before release.

- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve quality issues.

- Maintain accurate testing documentation and test execution reports.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or bootcamps included).

- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing concepts.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail.

Technical Skills

- Defect tracking and reporting

- Functional and regression testing

- Basic understanding of API testing (Postman preferred)

- Familiarity with SQL fundamentals (preferred)

- Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
