- Lead and manage data migration projects within the financial services sector, ensuring seamless transfer of data between systems. - Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies related to data migration activities. - Collaborate closely with business analysts, data architects, IT teams, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and migration scope. - Oversee data validation, cleansing, and testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy post-migration. - Coordinate resources and manage dependencies to meet project deadlines and quality standards. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and data governance policies throughout the migration process. - Provide regular status updates, reports, and documentation to senior management and stakeholders. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize data migration methodologies and best practices. Requirements - 5+ years of project management experience focused on data migration projects in the financial services industry. - Strong knowledge of data migration tools, techniques, and best practices. - Understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and data governance principles. - Experience managing cross-functional teams including technical and business stakeholders. - Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Familiarity with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. - Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, MS Project, Confluence). - Relevant certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are advantageous. - Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
