POSITION SUMMARY:TheQAProject Engineer is responsible for supporting company/clientprojects by representingquality assurancein the planning, coordination, and execution of assigned project activities. The Project Engineer serves as a central point of contact between theQAteam and other internal and external stakeholders forproject-relatedcross functionalqualityand process related issues.The QA Project Engineer is responsible for understanding and communicating project quality requirements, ensuring they are wellunderstoodand appropriately reflected in internal documentation, andworking with quality and other personnel to ensure that project quality requirementsareflowed to suppliers as applicable.Typical internal stakeholders include project managers, business development and proposal teamleads,engineering project leads, supply chain, individualcontributors and managers. External stakeholders will typically include partner firms,with the QA project engineerleading interactions with respect to quality matters,and customers. Success in this role requires the ability to efficiently formulate plans and strategies to addressrequirements andnew demands, as well as the ability to build strong relationships and teams. This position will occasionally be responsible forQAprocess related developments and will at times be asked to coordinate cross-functional project activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interact with projectteam andmanagement from multiple companies to manage cross-functionalqualityinterfaces.

- Have a diverse understanding ofquality requirementsto be able to provide input and support on a wide spectrum ofqualityand process related solutions.

- Support and coordinate as neededqualityresponses to customer Requests for Information and other marketing related activities.

- Effective development of quality requirements traceability matrix and incorporation of said matrix into project activities as applicable, and appropriate.

- Manage first-of-a-kind issuesand adapt to a constantly shifting business development environment; interface as needed with planners and other personnel to ensure that quality activities for a given project are accurately represented and accounted for in work management plans.

- Proactively identify and achieve resolution of project issues and anticipated challenges, including escalation of issues within the NuScale organization when necessary.

- Provide direction and coordinate project related activities throughqualityleads, supervisors, and managers.

- Develop and maintain processes and procedures needed for the efficient execution ofquality project activities.

- Support project risk assessment and risk mitigation activities.

- Perform other duties as assigned.
