Job Description
Are you a Product Designer that has a passion for creating intuitive features that solve problems for your target users? Does the idea of building the features that aim to delight our customers excite you?
We’re looking for an experienced Product Design Lead who will have the chance to lead the design process at Klir and help build, coach, and mentor a quickly growing and highly skilled group of designers. We need you to help in the continued build out of the Klir platform to ensure we continue to deliver a world-class customer experience as we continue to scale.
As our Product Design Lead, you will report into the Director of Product and work in close partnership with other designers and all verticals in the company. You will work within an Agile development team to build an enterprise grade solution which accurately reflects the requirements of a wide range of users across multiple Klir implementations. You will be responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure associated with a product in a way that is attractive and convenient for users.

Requirements
Main duties & responsibilities:
- Lead, oversee, and grow a team of high-performing product designers by communicating a vision, providing direction, mentorship, and inspiration
- Promote best practices in UX and UI, interaction design, and visual design
- Define and align designers on a Design System to be followed to drive a cohesive user experience for Klir systems
- Drive excellence through collaboration with product management and engineering teams, our go-to-market teams to identify business opportunities and user needs
- Initiate and support different Discovery initiatives to support informed decision making for new features and enhancements
- Promote informed decision-making using quantitative and qualitative research to ensure users' observability needs are understood and met
- Deliver quality user experiences that improve usability and provide meaningful value across web and mobile applications
- Drive standards for design excellence supporting our design system, principles, and guidelines
