Power Platform Engineer

GENERAL FUNCTION

We are looking for a Power Platform Engineer to support and expand our company-wide Microsoft Power Platform solutions. This role will focus on building, enhancing, and supporting business applications using Power Apps and Power Automate, while also helping manage platform environments and governance.

In addition, this role will provide basic SharePoint support related to application integrations and user access.

You will work closely with business teams across the organization to deliver scalable, secure, and practical automation and application solutions.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Application Development & Support

- Design, build, and maintain Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven)

- Develop and support Power Automate workflows

- Integrate solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Dataverse

- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in production

- Support enhancements and continuous improvements

SharePoint Support (Application-Focused)

- Provide basic SharePoint support related to Power Platform solutions

- Troubleshoot permission and access-related issues

- Manage list and site-level access in alignment with IT policies

- Support SharePoint data sources used in Power Apps and workflows

Business Partnership

- Work directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements

- Translate business needs into effective technical solutions

- Provide guidance on best practices and scalable design

Platform Governance & Environment Management

- Manage Power Platform environments (Dev, Test, Prod)

- Support environment strategy and deployments

- Monitor platform usage and recommend improvements

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent amount of experience.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform

- Strong experience with Power Apps and Power Automate

- Experience working with Dataverse

- Understanding of environment management and platform governance

- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams

Nice to have:

- Microsoft Power Platform certifications

- Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams integrations

- Familiarity with SharePoint permissions and access management
