Portuguese Translator with legal background

We are seeking a Portuguese‑speaking Contract Lawyer with around three years of legal experience. The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience in Investigations, Compliance, Financial Services, and/or Insurance . This role involves reviewing legal documentation, supporting regulatory processes, and assisting with risk‑related matters.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and analyze contracts and legal documents in Portuguese and English.

- Support investigations by reviewing evidence, identifying risk issues, and summarizing findings.

- Assist Compliance teams with regulatory research, policy reviews, and risk assessments.

- Provide legal support on matters related to Financial Services and Insurance , ensuring alignment with applicable regulations.

- Work cross‑functionally with legal, compliance, risk, and business teams to support ongoing matters.

- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality and data‑protection standards.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

- Law degree (LLB/JD) with Portuguese language skills (Brazilian).

Approximately 3 years of legal experience.

- Demonstrated experience in Investigations / Compliance / Financial Services / Insurance .

- Strong written and verbal proficiency in Portuguese and English .

- Ability to provide clear legal analysis and identify risk areas.
