SMHQ JOB DESCRIPTION: PODCAST EDITOR AND PUBLISHER =================================== ABOUT SMHQ =================================== SMHQ runs two connected UK property websites. SMHQ Network ( ---------- ) is a licence and franchise business aimed at property investors who want to find motivated sellers, with 58 people currently in the franchise network. ---------- is our main lead generation website, where we find motivated sellers directly, generating over 4,000 motivated seller leads in the last year. =================================== ROLE SUMMARY =================================== We're looking for a podcast editor and publisher to take our raw recordings and turn them into polished, published episodes across the platforms we use. As with all our roles, we're looking for someone with a good attitude and a genuine growth mindset, who wants to learn and grow. We want people who will stay with us long term and become loyal, trusted team members. =================================== MUST-HAVE SKILLS =================================== - Audio editing (cutting, cleaning up sound, levels) - Publishing episodes to podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and Amazon Music - Basic video editing, to turn podcast clips into short-form social content =================================== NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS =================================== - Show notes and description writing - Thumbnail/cover art design - Knowledge of podcast SEO or discoverability =================================== APPLICATION EVIDENCE REQUIRED =================================== Applicants should provide a sample of previous podcast editing or publishing work, e.g. a before/after audio clip or a link to an episode they've edited or published. =================================== HOURS AND PAY =================================== 20 to 40 hours per week. Pay negotiable based on experience. =================================== PROCESS =================================== 1.
