Responsibilities:

- Liaise with Manufacturing, Engineering, QA, Planning, Shipping user/customer to gather change requirements for the corresponding systems.

- Work closely with other IT functional teams to deliver user/customer IT requests in a timely manner.

- Analyze, design and create functional requirement document for the change request.

- Develop program codes to fulfill the change requests.
Conduct system and user acceptance test to confirm the change meets user requirements.

- Deploy the system change.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from the corresponding system and the interfaces to other
systems.

- Put in place monitoring tools and alerts for application scheduled jobs.

- Perform root cause analysis and remedy for major incidents to prevent future occurrences.

- Setup new application environments for Production and Development.

- Undertake application related upgrades and patch updates.

- Work with System and Database Administrator to develop scripts for periodic data archiving and housekeeping.

- Implement high availability configuration for application, where required.

- Provide relevant system and user documentation.

Requirements: 

- 3 - 5 year of experience.

- Key Skill set: AWS Redshift, Postgres, SQL Server

- Good knowledge on complex database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Cursors and Triggers using SQL and PL/SQL.

- Good understanding of Joins (Outer, Left / Right Outer Join, Self, Inner, Cross Join).

- Hands on Experience in handling errors with Exceptions.

- Working knowledge in migrating database objects from on premise to AWS cloud DB and make them work in AWS cloud DB.

- Hands on Experience with data import /export mechanism from one DB to another.
