Part-Time Video Editor for Facebook/Instagram Ads (UGC / Performance Creative)

ABOUT US We're a Canadian women's apparel brand selling direct to consumer. We run Meta ads year-round and need a reliable editor to turn raw UGC/video footage into ads that convert. We do not use AI-generated content in our ads. Every edit uses only the real footage we provide. If you rely on AI tools for content generation, this role isn't a fit. WHAT YOU'LL DO Edit 5-7 short-form ad creatives per week (15-60 seconds) Work from provided raw footage and a written content brief Deliver in 9:16 and 4:5 aspect ratios, Meta-ready specs Add clean burned-in captions, hook text overlays, simple b-roll and product cutaways Follow our brand style guide for fonts, colours and pacing Turn around revisions within 24-48 hours HOW WE WORK We're a small remote team and everything runs async. You'll communicate with us on Slack and pick up briefs and deadlines in Asana. There are no required live meetings, but we do expect you to check Slack daily during your working days and respond within one business day. We provide detailed creative briefs. REQUIREMENTS Proven experience editing UGC-style ads for Facebook and Instagram (please share 3-5 examples) Understanding of direct response editing: strong first 3 seconds, retention pacing, clear CTA Comfortable with CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects or equivalent Reliable internet, able to handle large video file transfers Good written English, since nearly all our communication is written Comfortable working independently from a written brief NICE TO HAVE Experience using Asana, ClickUp, Trello or a similar project management tool Experience with fashion, apparel or lifestyle brands Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager naming conventions Basic sound design and music selection instincts TO APPLY Send a short message with: Links to 3-5 UGC ads you edited (not agency reels, actual ads that ran) Your editing software and typical turnaround time Start your message with the word WANDERER so we know you read the full post Shortlisted applicants will be paid for a short test edit.
