What’s on offer

As a New Zealand-registered PGY4+ doctor, you’ll support patients on their weight management journey through our telehealth platform.

You’ll be working within structured clinical pathways, supported by a broader care team – allowing you to focus on safe, effective patient care without the usual administrative burden.
This role is ideal for doctors who:

- Enjoy a patient-centred approach, with a strong focus on safety and clinical outcomes

- Want to work alongside an independent medical advisory team

- Are comfortable using digital tools and telehealth models of care

- Value strong clinical governance and operational support

How you’ll work

- Conduct asynchronous and/or telehealth consultations to assess and support patients

- Prescribe and manage treatment plans in line with clinical protocols and best practice

- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

- Collaborate with our broader clinical and support teams to ensure continuity of care

- Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and governance

Availability

This role is focused on weekend coverage, with an expectation of:

- 8–10 hours per week, across Saturday and Sunday

- Flexibility in how those hours are split across both days

Role requirements

- General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)

- PGY4+ experience

- Background in general practice or community health

- Current APC and professional indemnity insurance

- Must be based in New Zealand

- Weekend availability
