Network Engineer

This is a remote position.

We’re searching a Senior Network Engineer for a leading proprietary trading firm that specializes in high-frequency algorithmic trading . Established in 2010, the company provides professional market-making services and operates on a global scale with a strong presence in emerging markets. With an infrastructure of over 100 top-tier servers, the firm prioritizes low-latency and scalable solutions, offering cutting-edge trading technologies.

The team is focused on expanding into both traditional asset classes and cryptocurrencies , while maintaining a commitment to technological innovation and rigorous market analysis. The company operates in key financial hubs such as Switzerland, the Netherlands, Dubai, and Cyprus, supporting its global trading activities.

- Identify, design and implement network optimizations

- Automate and eliminate manual elements of our network infrastructure;

- Assist with planned upgrades and maintenance (migrations, expansions, hardware and software upgrades);

- Contribute to capacity planning, connectivity improvements and traffic flow optimization;

- Perform related practical tasks in the data center

Requirements:

- Passionate about network performance, monitoring & capacity planning;

- Confident with a variety of network monitoring and alerting tools;

- Experience with LAN and WAN technologies;

- In depth experience with network transport & routing protocols (TCP/UDP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast);

- Comfortable working in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco/Arista/Juniper/Huawei).

- Experience with network security and firewalls;

- Confident with Python scripting for automation;

- Experience with low-latency networking, configuration management tooling functions, time series databases and centralized logging solutions are beneficial, but not required.
