Medical Support Specialist

This is a remote position.

- Preparing and entering data for medical billing processes

- Retrieving medical records for insurance claims and adjustments

- Assisting with various ad-hoc tasks as needed

- Managing inbound and outbound calls (fewer than 20 daily)

Requirements

- Familiarity with ICD-10 codes or a relevant medical background (educational or professional)

- Strong attention to detail

- Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently

- Excellent communication skills

- Adaptability to new systems and software

- Commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information

- Comfort with both inbound and outbound calls

Technical Requirements:
- Computer with at least an Intel i5 or Ryzen 3 processor and 8GB RAM

- Dual monitors

- Functional camera for video meetings

- Noise-canceling headphones with a microphone
