Marketing Designer

FlipSwitch Apparel Systems (FSA) helps gyms and fitness businesses run branded engagement campaigns, done-for-you online stores, and member participation programs. We're looking for a Marketing Content Designer to multiply the output of our Marketing Manager by turning campaign concepts into finished marketing assets, fast. This is NOT a branding or creative-direction role. Direction, strategy, and messaging are already provided. We need someone who can execute quickly, consistently, and with good taste using templates, systems, and existing brand guidelines. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Static graphics (this is the core of the role): email headers, social posts, Facebook /Meta ad creative, Shopify banners, product mockups Execute from a brief, not invent strategy: pull angles, hooks, and visual direction from what's provided Fast turnaround: same-day or next-day on standard requests Take revisions without hand-holding: incorporate feedback directly Basic video is a bonus, not required to start: simple template-based edits (15-30 second Reels-style cuts) are a plus, but this role is 99% static for now TOOLS YOU SHOULD KNOW: Canva or Adobe Express (primary, daily use) Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator (editing, not from-scratch design) Bonus, not required: CapCut or Adobe Premiere Rush WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: Speed: you can turn around a brief same-day or next-day, not week-later Reliability: you show up, communicate, and hit deadlines without chasing Coachability: you take direction well and don't need creative control to do good work Taste: your output looks clean and professional even when working from templates WHAT WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR: A brand designer building identity systems from scratch A professional videographer or motion graphics specialist Someone who needs extensive creative freedom to produce good work HOW THIS ROLE FITS IN: You'll report to and take direction from our Marketing Manager. Briefs will include the concept, message, and reference examples. Your job is execution, not concepting. TEST PROJECT (required before hire): Before hiring, we run a short test project: two posts and one Canva template. Part of what we're testing is whether you understand the nuance between our B2B and B2C audiences, since that distinction matters a lot in how we communicate.
