We're the DIG TEAM, a real estate group with Elevation RE serving Weber and Davis Counties in Northern Utah. We publish long-form video on YouTube: property tours, local market updates, and interview-style episodes. Our audience is people relocating to Northern Utah, military families moving to and from Hill Air Force Base, and homeowners d ---------- whether to move up.
We are building a small, permanent video team. This is not a one-off project. We want someone who will still be with us in two years.
What you'll be editing
Property tours โ walkthrough footage of listings, 10โ15 minutes
Market updates โ talking-head to camera with screen-share of charts and data, 10โ12 minutes
Interview episodes โ two-camera or single-camera conversations with lenders, inspectors, builders, and local business owners, 15โ25 minutes
Volume: 4โ5 finished videos per week.
Your workflow
Pull raw footage from Google Drive (we upload same-day after each shoot)
Build a rough cut in Descript using the transcript โ cut filler, dead air, and tangents
Assemble and finish in Adobe Premiere Pro: b-roll placement, music bed, lower thirds, on-screen text callouts, simple transitions
Light audio cleanup and a basic color pass for consistency across the channel
Export and deliver, log the task in Monday
One revision round per video
What we are NOT asking you to do
We want to be straight with you about scope, because a lot of postings are not:
No thumbnails โ we have a separate designer for that
No titles, descriptions, or tags โ same person handles that
No heavy motion graphics or After Effects compositing
No advanced color grading or sound design
This is clean, fast, consistent long-form editing. If your passion is cinematic grading and motion design, this role will bore you and you should apply somewhere else โ genuinely, no hard feelings.
Requirements
2+ years editing long-form YouTube content (10+ minutes). Please don't apply if your portfolio is only Reels and TikToks โ that's a different skill and we hire for it separately.
Adobe Premiere Pro โ fluent, not learning
Descript โ you should already be doing transcript-based rough cuts
---------- , or willingness to learn it in week one (it's simple)
Strong written and conversational English
Hardware: A machine that runs Premiere smoothly on 4K footage with Chrome, Drive sync, and Descript open at the same time. Apple Silicon Mac, or a Windows machine with a dedicated GPU and 16GB+ RAM. If Premiere currently stutters on your setup, please upgrade before applying โ we hit weekly volume targets and slow renders will make you miserable.
Internet: Stable enough to pull and push multi-gigabyte files daily. A backup connection is a real plus.
Quiet space, decent headphones for audio checks
Schedule
Fully remote, mostly asynchronous. We don't need you on US hours. We ask for a 2-hour overlap window with Mountain Time (roughly 9โ11 PM Philippines time) on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a quick check-in call. Outside that, you set your own hours as long as delivery hits.
Turnaround target: 48 hours from footage drop to first cut.
Compensation and benefits
$650 USD per month, paid semi-monthly on the 15th and the 30th via Wise
We pay on time, every time. No exceptions, no "next week." If we're ever late, we tell you before you have to ask.
13th month pay, paid in December
We cover all software โ Adobe Creative Cloud, Descript, and your Monday seat. That's roughly $80/month you don't pay out of your own salary.
Paid Philippine holidays
10 days paid time off after 90 days
Written raise schedule: performance review at 90 days, 6 months, and annually. We put the raise criteria in writing on day one so you always know exactly what moves the number.
30-day paid trial period, then permanent
How to apply
Please do not send a generic application. We read every one and generic templates go straight to the bottom.
