Tutor Me Education is reshaping how students learn, and we're looking for experienced Language & Reading Tutors to provide 1:1 and small group virtual instruction to students across the country. What you'll do:

Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's reading level, literacy goals, and unique learning profile.

Create structured lesson plans focused on core literacy components (such as phonics, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, or essay writing) that align with grade-level standards and student needs.

Adapt instruction in real time based on student engagement, decoding challenges, and comprehension building blocks to foster confidence and a love for reading.

Track student progress and communicate effectively with families and, where applicable, school district partners regarding reading growth and language milestones.

Note: Many of our assignments operate in Pacific Time, so availability during PT hours is a plus.

Requirements

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree required

- Experience working with students who have education needs

- Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations

- Strong virtual instruction skills — comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online

- Ability to pass a background check

- Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace

Preferred (not required):
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
