What we’re looking for

Successful candidates will have good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. We are looking for an inquisitive person who can both prioritise and manage multiple requests while paying strong attention to the details.

A background in marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Iterable, or Braze would be advantageous. However, as this is a junior role, someone with experience in a related area such as computer science or SaaS platform administration/implementation would also be suitable.

All positions in Shaw+Scott require a curious mind and passion for learning new technologies and ways of working, but this is especially true in developmental positions. You’ll be a highly motivated learner who’s eager to pursue certifications and follow our structured training pathway.

Ideally, candidates will be based near our Budapest hub, though remote work from anywhere in Hungary is possible. Some on-site meetings and travel (including internationally) may be required depending on project or company needs. The ability to be self‑motivating while working from home is essential.

The job role

As a junior implementation consultant, you will support the execution of marketing activities by partnering with our clients and a cross-functional team of experts as part of our technical services team. You will be responsible for building, testing, and deploying digital marketing campaigns, associated data flows and programs including email, SMS, push and web messages.

Build multi channel marketing campaigns within tools such as Braze, SFMC, Bloomreach or Iterable.

Peer review and QA other team members’ builds

Support clients' technical needs on leading marketing automation platforms

Develop analytics dashboards on target platforms

Configure and build marketing automation tool components based on specifications provided by an architect or senior solutions engineer

Work closely with other technical and project management teams to deliver per agreed schedules

Perform functional testing of implementations to confirm accuracy

Continually learn new solutions and advance technical skills
The candidate must:

Be able to speak and write in fluent English

Have a background in SaaS software related field, ideally with 1-3 years of experience.

Be able to perform under pressure, working on multiple projects and meeting deadlines whilst also demonstrating enthusiasm and integrity towards colleagues and clients

Have strong written and verbal communication skills and be confident talking and presenting to colleagues and client teams

Have the ability to forge strong and trusted relationships

Be able to work from home and self motivate to learn and perform duties effectively

Have a strong passion for learning new skills
The ideal candidate also:

Is proficient in HTML and Adobe Creative Cloud suite

Has knowledge of email marketing best
