JUNIOR DEVOPS

This is a remote position.

The Junior DevOps Engineer will assist in building, deploying, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, supporting cloud infrastructure, and ensuring smooth software delivery processes. This role is ideal for early-career professionals interested in automation, cloud technologies, and modern software delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.

- Support infrastructure provisioning and environment setup.

- Monitor application and infrastructure performance.

- Assist in automating repetitive deployment and operational tasks.

- Support cloud resource configuration and management.

- Troubleshoot basic deployment and environment issues.

- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth releases.

- Document DevOps processes, workflows, and configurations.

- Assist in maintaining system reliability and uptime.

Required Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or bootcamps included).

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Technical Skills

- Cloud basics: Amazon Web Services / Azure / GCP

- Version control: Git / GitHub / GitLab

- CI/CD basics: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI (intro level)

- Basic scripting: Python or Bash (preferred)

- Linux fundamentals (command line usage)

- Container basics: Docker (awareness or introductory experience)
