Position: Excel Expert — IT Manager
Type: Contract
Compensation: $70–$100/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20+ hours/week
Role Responsibilities

- Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance on Excel-based tasks within the IT management domain .

- Design realistic, domain-relevant Excel tasks from professional experience and write accurate, well-structured solutions.

- Evaluate Excel tasks and solutions, providing clear, written feedback.

- Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data .

Qualifications

Must-Have

- Strong, hands-on Excel proficiency with nested formulas, lookups, PivotTables , dashboards, and analytical tools. Experience with Power Query , Power Pivot , or macros/VBA is a plus.

- 5+ years in an in-house IT management or leadership role using Excel daily.

- Demonstrable career progression into senior IT management .

- Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays .

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.

- United States–based only.
