Apply on original site ↗SOLTILO GSA International School is looking for motivated homeroom teachers and senior teachers for the opening of a new campus in Ebina, Kanagawa.
SOLTILO GSA International School (SGIS)’s brand new campus will open in the "Family Building" within ViNA GARDENS, which is scheduled to open in the spring of 2027. The school will blend the acclaimed sports program of Keisuke Honda's SOLTILO with the international school curriculum of Global Step Academy. The new campus will welcome up to 100 students and 20 staff members.
\[Important]
This job posting is NOT for an "Eikaiwa" teacher, "ALT," or English teacher position. We expect the candidate to be able to teach several subjects in English, such as literacy, math, and social studies, and support the children's social and physical development.
\[Main Duties]
● Demonstrate various educational and recreational activities for students to follow.
● Plan and teach students language arts, math, science, social studies, and, when necessary, other subjects in accordance with the monthly curriculum provided by the school.
● Encourage children to interact with their classmates and assist in developing their social skills.
● Support and communicate with parents.
● Monitor and evaluate students' development.
● Prepare for lessons and file the reports and documents required by law.
● Serve as a bus attendant for the children.
● Providing childcare, including diaper changing when necessary.
\[Requirements]
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
● Excellent English communication skills.
● Excellent interpersonal skills.
● Experience in working with children.
● Ability to relate with students and staff members of different cultures and nationalities.
● Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize assignments effectively.
\[Salary]
300,000 yen to 350,000 yen, depending on experience, responsibilities, and qualifications.
\[Working Conditions]
●Working Hours: 8 hours a day (40 hours a week) + 1 hour break.
●Overtime: up to 8 hours a month included.
●Working Days: Monday to Friday.
●Holidays: Japanese National Holidays + School Holidays + 10 days of personal paid leave
●Allowances: reimbursement of transportation fees (up to 20,000/month), Social Insurance (Shakai Hoken) for full-time employees, and professional development opportunities.
