You are passionate about development andcreatelearning solutions from a “learner-back” perspective byapplying instructional designandadult learning principles.

You have experience with all phases of the course creation lifecycle , including analysis, design, and development.

You havea track recordof using innovative approaches and leveraging AI in both your workflow and your designs.

You have experienceworkingwithin Agile Learning Development or the Successive Approximation Model (SAM) environments.

You are self-driven ,collaborative,resourceful, and excellent at project management.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities,and Key Accountabilities
50%-Design and developlearningsolutions, including eLearning, instructor-led training,distancelearning, blended learning, etc.
20% - Collaborate withLearning Strategy Senior Managers andsubject matter experts during the analysis phase and throughout the project.
10% - Work with standard development tools and software (Articulate Storyline/Rise,PowerPoint, etc.).
10% - Communicate with project team members and effectively manage projects.
10% - Work on creative and innovative ways to developassociates.
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- This position reports to Manager of Learning.
- This position has 0 direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be eighteen years of age or older.
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's orBachelor'sdegree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, HRDevelopment,Organizational Development, I/O Psychology,or related fieldpreferred (or equivalent Home Depot experience)
- Ability to design learner-centered experiences that are visually engaging, contextual, andimmediatelyapplicable to the work environment
- Working knowledge of multiple learning modalities including eLearning, instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, mobile, and performance support solutions
- Experience with agile learning development or the Successive Approximation Model (SAM)
