Implementation Consultant
Job Summary:
The Implementation Consultant will focus on a broad range of software implementation activities, working primarily with external customers but also with internal departments such as product development, quality assurance and customer care. The ideal candidate will have established experience in a similar professional services environment, specifically in the areas of business analysis, web application configuration and setup consulting, technical/functional specification creation, user acceptance testing and train-the-trainer and/or end-user-oriented training, all in both an onsite and remote capacity.
The Implementation Consultant will have experience working with at least one of the following industries in relationship to Asset Management, specifically with Fleet asset management:
Municipal or commercial fleet
Local government public works
State infrastructure agencies (i.e., DOT)
Campus infrastructure or facilities organizations
Utilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Conductdetailedbusiness process analysis consultingand documentthe resultingrequirements definitions.

Consult with customers related to systemdesignand configurationto achieve desired workflows.

Understand and be able to effectively communicate the fundamentals of change management.

Translate customer requirements into functional/technical specifications for enhancements, interfaces,conversionsand/orreports.

Manage testing cycle process with customer for end user acceptance test scriptsregardingsystem design and any enhancements, interfaces, conversions, and reports built within the project scope.

Deliver high quality, focused training classes for both train-the-trainer and end-user-oriented classes on areas of the system per documented workflows.

Support live operations transition for customer(s) onsite at their facilities and perform requisitetroubleshootingas necessary.

Deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.

Deliver training classes and presentations at the annual customer conference.

Create, update, and provide insight on internal and external training andimplementationmaterials.

Createand deliver ad hoc and routineindustry neededreportsfrom system for customers,asrequested.

Build and support custom reports inBusiness ObjectsEnterprise, notrequiredbut preferred.

Possesses general understanding in the areas of application programming,IIS,database, and system design.

Facilitateprojectteam andcustomermeetings effectively.

Communicate relevant project information toassigned project manager, direct manager, andother departments (Development,Customer Care, QA, Sales) effectivelyandtimely.

Resolve and/or escalate issues ina timelyfashion.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate willpossessa BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Management and/or Computer Science, preferred. Coursework in GIS is a plus. The position requires:
