Implementation Consultant

Project Delivery & Implementation
- Deliver and manage implementations of PTC data management tools, including the Windchill suite of products, in alignment with established project plans and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Execute project tasks within defined timelines and budget constraints while maintaining a high level of quality and client satisfaction.
- Support customer implementations through system setup, deployment, and solution execution.
System Installation, Configuration & Upgrades
- Install, configure, rehost, and upgrade Windchill solutions, including applicable third-party software that supports customer environments.
- Configure client solutions to meet technical and business requirements, ensuring system functionality aligns with customer needs.
- Assist with workflow modifications, configuration changes, and change management-related updates within Windchill.
Documentation & Solution Design
- Document solution designs, use cases, configuration changes, customizations, and case studies to support internal knowledge sharing and client success.
- Translate business and technical requirements into implementation plans and system configurations.
- Maintain accurate project and technical documentation throughout the implementation lifecycle.
Client Communication & Support
- Maintain open, professional, and clear communication with clients throughout the implementation and design process to ensure goals and deliverables are met.
- Provide service, technical support, and mentoring to clients on system functionality, workflows, change management, content management, and configurations.
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for implementation-related questions and issue resolution.
Continuous Improvement & Team Support
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and best practices related to Windchill and PLM implementations.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and client stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving business and customer needs.
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
Education & Experience
- Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or another related technical field preferred
- 2β3 years of experience managing product information or product data using PTC tools.
- 1β2 years of system administrator experience in CAD, IT, or data management environments.
- Experience with Windchill programs, including installation, configuration, and migration to meet customer requirements.
Technical Knowledge & Preferred Experience
- Working knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) business processes.
- Experience with Change Management, including process analysis, design, and configuration within PDMLink, preferred.
- Experience with Windchill Foundation, BOM / Configuration Management, MPMLink, ERP Connector, and ESI preferred.
- Java, SQL, and REST experience preferred.
- Windchill+ experience highly preferred.

- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to provide technical mentoring and support to customers in a clear and professional manner.
