HR-Manager/Senior HR-Manager
Objective for the company.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for executing HR strategies and programs and works closely with business leaders to attract, develop, and retain top talent, while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulatory requirements. The HR Manager plays a critical role in fostering a culture of scientific excellence, patient-centricity, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs for defined functions.
- Recruitment activities for defined roles in strong collaboration with Talent Acquisition.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on workplace matters, conflict resolution, and performance concerns.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives that reinforce company culture and values.
- Conduct investigations and provide guidance on disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
Performance Management & Talent Development
- Administer performance review cycles, goal-setting frameworks, and calibration processes.
- Support succession planning and development programs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Support global compensation processes (e.g., Salary Review, STI, LTI).
- Support monthly payroll and pension administration.
- Support occupational safety yearly meetings and initiatives.
Compliance & Policy Administration
- Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local employment laws, as well as industry-specific regulations.
- Maintain and update employee handbooks, policies, and procedures.
- Manage HR records and documentation in accordance with data privacy and regulatory retention requirements.
HR Operations & Systems
- Oversee HRIS data integrity, reporting, and process improvements.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Manage contract management.
- Track and report HR metrics (e.g., turnover, time-to-fill, engagement scores) to leadership.
Change Management
- Support organizational change management efforts during growth or restructuring.
- Support to implement effective change management strategies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Culture & Organizational Development
- Partnering with HR global and HR Europe in developing new initiatives and projects.
- Implementation of global and EU HR initiatives and projects across DACH-NL.
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and initiatives as well as digital HR initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment, employee relations, and performance management processes
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
