Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HR Manager to join our dynamic team remotely. This role is ideal for an HR professional who has worked with Australian companies or clients, particularly in a distributed or remote work environment. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end HR processes including talent acquisition, employee engagement, compliance with Australian employment law, and performance management for our augmented teams and internal staff.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage recruitment cycles, from sourcing through onboarding, across legal, operational, and tech verticals.

Provide expert HR guidance and support on policies, procedures, and employment legislation relevant to Australian jurisdictions.

Develop and maintain HR frameworks including performance management, employee relations, and training initiatives.

Oversee contractor agreements, workplace compliance, and HR documentation for Australian-based and international team members.

Drive culture, engagement, and retention efforts in a fully remote and multicultural environment.

Support leadership in workforce planning, succession planning, and internal hiring strategies.

Use HRIS systems and tools to maintain employee records and generate reports as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certifications such as AHRI or CIPD are a plus).

Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably within Australian companies or consulting with Australian clients.

Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and modern awards.

Experience managing HR in remote or hybrid teams, with exposure to international workforces a bonus.

Proven ability to lead recruitment, resolve HR issues, and implement people strategies.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
