Homeowners Liability Desk Adjuster - 1099 Florida-Licensed

CCMS & Associates is seeking a homeowners liability desk adjuster (Florida-licensed) with at least 5 years experience. This position is ready to be filled immediately. Now is the time to join our team!

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years homeowners liability adjusting experience

- Working computer/laptop - internet access and Microsoft Word required

- Strong time management and customer service skills

- Currently active Florida adjusters license * must be self-appointed *

Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth investigations into liability claims to gather facts regarding the loss

- Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements from insureds, claimants, or witnesses, and by interviewing fire, police, or other government officials

- Maintain compliance on each claim in an active caseload

- Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements, and provide a thorough analysis of issues in well-documented reports to client

- Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices

Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of liability insurance coverage and industry standards

- Ability to prepare full-captioned reports by collecting and summarizing required information

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Prompt, reliable, and friendly

- Detail-oriented individual to accurately gather and analyze information to avoid errors
