Healthcare Program Manager, Cohort-Based Learning Location: Remote About the Role Penn Foster Group is seeking a strategic and collaborative Healthcare Program Manager, Cohort-Based Learning to lead the development, launch, and continuous improvement of innovative healthcare education programs delivered through our cohort-based learning model. Reporting to the Senior Academic Director of College and Career, this role serves as the primary operational lead for Penn Foster 's partnership with Springboard. The Healthcare Program Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams, faculty, subject matter experts, and external partners to build high-quality, learner-centered healthcare programs that align with workforce demands, certification requirements, and institutional quality standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building educational programs, fostering strategic partnerships, driving continuous improvement, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Program Development & Curriculum

- Lead the development and launch of new cohort-based healthcare education programs from concept through implementation.

- Conduct research on healthcare workforce trends, certification pathways, and competitive programs to inform program strategy.

- Partner with instructional designers, faculty, and subject matter experts to develop and enhance curriculum, assessments, and learner experiences.

- Support curriculum mapping, competency alignment, course sequencing, and assessment design.

- Ensure instructional content aligns with academic quality standards, workforce needs, and learner outcomes.

Strategic Partnership Management

- Serve as the primary day-to-day relationship manager for Penn Foster 's partnership with Springboard.

- Build and strengthen collaborative relationships with external partners, working toward long-term strategic partnerships.

- Represent Penn Foster in partner meetings, providing academic expertise and thoughtful recommendations.

- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Academics, Product, Operations, Learner Experience, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Program Operations & Continuous Improvement

- Monitor learner performance, completion rates, certification outcomes, and program metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.

- Use research and data to recommend enhancements to curriculum, learner engagement, and program effectiveness.

- Support program launch readiness, ongoing operations, and continuous optimization of cohort-based learning experiences.

- Ensure programs maintain compliance with accreditation standards, institutional policies, and regulatory requirements.

Collaboration & Communication

- Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including Holly Peterman and cross-functional leadership teams, to execute strategic initiatives.

- Develop presentations, reports, documentation, and communications for internal and external audiences.

- Manage multiple priorities while responding quickly to changing business needs and partner requests.

- Confidently communicate recommendations, influence stakeholders, and drive decisions across diverse teams.

Qualifications Required

- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Education, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in healthcare education, academic program management, workforce development, or program development.

- Experience supporting curriculum development or educational content creation.

- Experience managing cross-functional projects and external partnerships.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong research, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred

- Master's degree in a related discipline.

- Experience with online, hybrid, or cohort-based learning programs.

- Knowledge of healthcare certification
