Growth & Marketing Specialist
Remote (Ukraine and Europe) | Full-time | Advanced English | Overlap with US time (EST) required (at least 4-5h per day)
We’re looking for a Marketing & Growth Specialist who operates with very high standards, moves fast, and thinks clearly. This is not a pure execution-type role. It’s for someone who wants real ownership, sharp thinking, and close exposure to how founders actually build companies.
You’ll work closely with our leadership team and support go-to-market, positioning, and founder-facing communications across A-Players and selected portfolio companies.
What You’ll Do
-
Own marketing and communication initiatives end to end. From raw input to final delivery.
-
Turn complex ideas, notes, or numbers into clear, founder-ready messages (LinkedIn, emails, decks, landing pages, internal docs).
-
Write and edit content on behalf of founders , preserving tone, intent, and brevity.
-
Support positioning, go-to-market initiatives, and curated events (e.g. founder dinners, partner or investor events).
-
Research startups, markets, events, or ecosystems and synthesize insights into actionable angles.
-
Manage timelines, follow-ups, and execution details without being chased.
-
Proactively spot gaps, risks, or misalignment and suggest concrete next steps.
-
Raise the bar continuously. If something feels mediocre, you’ll fix it.
This is not a social media or content-calendar role . It sits at the intersection of marketing, sales, and client relations.
Mandatory Hard Skills / Experience
-
You're comfortable learning new tools quickly and navigating different systems. Specific tools matter less than your ability to figure things out fast.
-
Marketing systems understanding : understands what CRM, funnels, attribution, and conversion mean.
-
Business prioritization : able to triage multiple requests and make trade-offs based on business impact.
-
Research & synthesis : quickly turns raw information into clear insights and actionable next steps.
-
Founder-level writing : concise, high-judgment communication; able to write on behalf of founders (LinkedIn comments, DMs, emails).
-
Analytics literacy : able to read and interpret basic metrics (traffic, conversions, engagement, funnel stages) and use data to support decisions, not just report it.
-
Actively uses AI in daily workflows (research, synthesis, structuring), but does not outsource judgment, positioning, or creative thinking to AI.
Nice to Have
-
Previous experience in marketing roles is a strong plus .
-
Experience with productivity, research, CRM, and analytics tools (e.g. Notion/Docs, HubSpot, GA4, Crunchbase, LinkedIn) is an advantage
-
Experience in startups, consulting, ops, or founder-support roles.
-
Exposure to events, partnerships, or go-to-market initiatives (event platforms (Luma/Eventbrite)
-
Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
What Success Looks Like
-
Founders rely on you to turn vague inputs into sharp outputs.
-
Communication becomes clearer and more consistent.
-
Key initiatives (marketing, partnerships) move forward without reminders.
-
Risks are flagged early, with proposed solutions.
-
Your work supports growth, partnerships, and revenue-generating efforts.
What This Role Actually Is
You will split your focus between:
-
Business Associate (BA) initiatives – founder-facing positioning, communications, partnerships, curated events
-
Recruitment go-to-market support – messaging, role positioning, candidate-facing content, founder communication
This is a dynamic, high-context environment. We expect comfort with ambiguity and fast-moving priorities.
Hiring Process
- Work Samples
-
Initial screening interview with recruiter
- Test task
- Deep-dive interview with leadership
-
Final culture conversation (short conversations with leadership team members)
We maintain a high bar and optimize for long-term fit over speed. We prioritize personality, judgment, and ownership.
